My surgeon cut out a chunk of me (about a foot long) along with an egg-size tumor. 10 days later, she was horrified to hear that I was flying to Maryland to announce at NAS Patuxent River. A week and a half after that, I was announcing at Reno.      Not knowing for certain about my chemotherapy treatments, I announced MCAS Yuma in March (with more than a little help.) In May my chemo treatments wrapped up, and my doctors gave me a CLEAN bill of health! So now, I am prepping for the Reno Championship Air Races in September, and getting my strength back!      My plan is to announce shows in the 2013 season, then knock it off.
